Kit affiliate commissions FAQ

Frequently asked questions about receiving Kit affiliate payments.

Here is everything you need to know about earning and receiving your commissions as a Kit affiliate.

How can I get paid?

You can get paid by setting up payouts via direct deposit, PayPal, or Stripe in our affiliate platform PartnerStack.

Refer to PartnerStack's guide to setting up your preferred payout provider.

NOTE: Some payout methods may be unavailable in your country. View the supported payout methods for your country here.

How do commission approvals work?

We review commissions for the most recent month at the start of the current month. If your commission is approved, you'll be able to withdraw it from around the 13th of the current month onward.

For example, if you earned a commission on August 5, we'll review it in early September. If we approve the commission, you can withdraw it from around September 13 onward.

Is there a commission threshold?

Yes, there is a commission threshold of $5. If your outstanding commission balance is below $5 (after fees), we'll pay it out after your balance reaches $5 or higher.

Why were my commissions denied?

If your commissions were denied, this may have been due to reasons like:

  • The Kit account was self-proclaimed or was not approved by our team

  • A referral cancelled their account, and a refund took place

  • We made a mistake. If this happens, we'll contact PartnerStack and ask them to correct the payment status to Approved.

Why am I seeing transactions with no commissions attached?

Our affiliate commission structure is 50% commission on the first 12 months of a customer's payments. If you sent a customer our way 12 months prior to today, you'll see their payments but there won't be any commissions generated. Unfortunately, PartnerStack continues to show you purchases your referrals have made, regardless of whether or not there is commission associated with them. When you earn a commission, you'll see it in that 'Activity description' list as a 'Commission earned' event.
