WordPress 404 errors and how to get rid of them.

Updated over a week ago

If you run a WordPress site and you suddenly see a bunch of 404 errors across it after installing the ConvertKit WordPress plugin, they could be due to the plugin installation being incomplete.

In order for the plugin to know which ConvertKit account is yours and pull in the correct data to your site, go to Settings > ConvertKit from your WordPress left sidebar and click the Connect button.

You'll be directed to log in to your ConvertKit account. Go ahead to do that.

Next, you'll see a message: "WordPress is requesting access to your account."

Click Grant access to WordPress to continue.

All your 404 errors should be gone! πŸ˜ƒ You can now continue configuring the plugin to display ConvertKit content on your site. More details in the article below.
