How to find Creator Network creators to recommend

Discover active Creator Network creators to recommend to your audience.

Find your perfect match

The Discover page is where you'll find Creator Network creators for recommending to your audience.

Navigate to this page by going to Recommendations under the top navigation's Grow tab. Then, click the Discover tab.

You'll see all the creators you can recommend. Here's how to shortlist them, keeping your creator niche and audience's interests in mind.

Use the search bar and filters

Use the search bar to search for creators by name or keywords.

For example, you can search for:

  • A creator whose name you know, e.g., "nathan barry"

  • Creators who have the word "guitar" in their Creator Profile

You can also use the filters on the right to filter for creators by creator type, topic, and language.

NOTE: Creators set their creator type and topics from their Recommendations settings. Meanwhile, we detect their language automatically.

Check out our suggested creators

Below the search bar are categories of creators we suggest recommending. If any of these creators catch your interest, click them to view their in-network profile (more on this profile shortly).

Creators you're already recommending won't appear in any suggested creator category (except the Featured creators category).

NOTE: The suggested creator categories won't appear if there are no creators that meet the categories' criteria.

Featured creators

Featured creators are established creators with large email followings. You may recognize some of them.

Consider recommending these creators if they're a good fit for your audience.

Shared connections

The Shared connections category displays creators being recommended by the creators you recommend. We suggest recommending them because their content may be similar to the content of the creators you recommend—and possibly to yours, too.

Let's say you're a photographer who has recommended a fellow photographer named Amy. Amy is recommending another photographer named Billy.

Unless you're already recommending Billy, he will appear in the Shared connections category. And since Billy is a photographer like you, your audience may be keen to subscribe to his content if you recommend him to them.

Creators that you subscribe to

The Creators that you subscribe to category displays creators whose email lists you've subscribed to. Consider recommending these creators if their content is similar to yours.

We use the email address you use to log in to your Kit account to check whether you're subscribed to a creator's email list.

Creators that subscribe to you

The Creators that subscribe to you category displays creators who have subscribed to your email list. Consider recommending these creators if their content is similar to yours.

We use the email address the creator uses to log in to their Kit account to check whether they're subscribed to your email list.

View all other creators

Below the suggested creator categories (if available) is the Discover creators recommended for you section.

This section contains creators who don't fall within our suggested creator categories. But check them out—they may be worth recommending nevertheless!

View the creator's in-network profile

Click any creator on the Discover page to view their in-network profile—which shows information like their bio, description, the creators they are recommending, the creators who are recommending them, and their featured post.

By looking at the creator's in-network profile, you can learn:

  • What the creator does, from their byline and bio

  • How popular they are, based on the number of creators recommending them

  • The post they're proudest of (if they've set their featured post to a specific post)

  • Whether they actively email their audience, based on their featured post's date. (This assumes they've made their posts public and set their featured post to display their latest post.)

Use this information to decide whether to recommend the creator.

For example, if the creator is in the same niche as you and has emailed their audience recently, they may be worth recommending.

Check if the creator has a badge

Some creators have an orange circle around their photo on the Discover page. Hovering over their photo will display a Consistent creator badge:

The Consistent creator badge indicates that the creator sends at least one email per month for the last three months. This means they're actively growing and emailing their audience, and may be worth recommending.

Recommend your chosen creators

If you've decided to recommend a certain creator, hit their in-network profile's Recommend button. They'll be added to your Recommendations list instantly.

A Similar creators section will then appear, with more creators for you to check out and recommend.

You can have up to 100 active Recommendations. But to maintain a positive experience for your audience, we'll show them up to five Recommendations at once.

Manage the number of Recommendations you show your audience, and their order, from the Customize page.
