Folders help you group related Tags, Segments, and Product Tags together.
They're perfect for keeping seasonal campaigns organized, managing product lines, or helping team members understand your tagging system at a glance.
Folders are available on paid plans. Here's how to use them.
How Folders work
Folders are simply containers for organizing your Tags, Segments, and Product Tags. Creating, updating, or deleting Folders has no effect on the Tags or Segments themselves—your Rules, Sequences, and Visual Automations will continue working exactly as before.
Create a Folder
To create a Folder, go to Subscribers under the Grow tab in the navigation. In the sidebar, click the + icon in the Folders section at the top.
A window will pop up, where you can:
Name your Folder
Optionally add Tags, Segments, or Product Tags to it right away
Click Save to create your Folder.
Add Tags, Segments, or Product Tags to a Folder
You can add items to Folders one at a time or in bulk.
To add a single item:
Click the three vertical dots next to any Tag, Segment, or Product Tag
Select Add to folder
Choose an existing Folder or create a new one
To add multiple items at once:
Use the checkboxes to select multiple Tags, Segments, or Product Tags
Click the three vertical dots in the multi-select menu
Select Add to folder
Choose an existing Folder or create a new one
PRO TIP: Hold Shift on your keyboard while selecting items to quickly select everything between your first and last selection with one click.
Remove items from a Folder
To remove items from a Folder:
Expand the Folder in the sidebar
Click the three vertical dots next to an item (or select multiple items and use the multi-select menu)
Select Remove from folder
Removing an item from a Folder doesn't delete the Tag or Segment—it just removes it from that organizational container.
Edit or delete a Folder
To edit or delete a Folder:
Click the three vertical dots next to the Folder name
Select Edit to rename it, or Delete to remove it
Deleting a Folder only removes the organizational container. It doesn't affect the Tags, Segments, or Product Tags inside the Folder. Those items will remain in your account and continue working in your Rules, Sequences, and Visual Automations.
What happens to my Folders if I downgrade my plan?
If you downgrade from Creator or Creator Pro to a free plan, we'll keep your Folders for 6 months so you can regain access if you re-upgrade.
After 6 months, your Folders will be permanently deleted. Don't worry—the Tags, Segments, and Product Tags inside will remain in your account.
