Connect Kit to Claude to have it manage your email list, draft emails, and analyze email data, all from a chat.
Once connected, Claude can read your Kit account and take actions on your behalf. Just ask Claude in plain language.
For example, you can ask Claude to:
"Summarize my last five Broadcasts and their open rates."
"Find my most engaged subscribers and tag them as 'VIP.'"
"Draft a Broadcast for my book launch using my usual email template."
What you'll need
To connect your Kit account to Claude, you'll need a:
Claude account on any plan
You can set up the connection from Claude's web, desktop, or mobile app. The steps below cover the web and desktop apps.

NOTE: If you previously connected your Kit account to Claude with a custom connector, that connection still works. You don't need to create a new connection using the instructions below.
How to connect Kit to Claude
Connecting Kit to Claude takes two steps: find Kit in Claude's Connectors Directory, and then authorize Claude to access your Kit account.
1. Find Kit in Claude's Connector Directory
You can use our link to go to the Kit connector's directory listing. Alternatively, navigate to Kit's connector from your Claude home screen.
From the directory listing
Click this link to go directly to the Kit connector's directory listing on the Claude Connector Directory.
Click the Connect to Claude button.
From your Claude home screen
Click Settings at the bottom right of your Claude account. Then, click Connectors.
Click the Discover tab at the top. Then, enter "kit" into the "Search connectors" search bar.
Click the "+" icon next to Kit to install the connector.
2. Authorize Claude to access your Kit account
If you aren't already logged in to your Kit account, you'll be prompted to log in. You'll then see a screen saying "Connect Claude to Kit MCP."
If you have access to multiple Kit accounts, use the dropdown menu to select the account you want to connect to Claude. Then, click Authorize & Accept Terms.
NOTE: This process lets you connect one Kit account to Claude. To connect multiple Kit accounts, follow these instructions instead.
If the connection is successful, the listing will show a "Connected" message if you started from the Kit connector's directory listing.
If you started from the Connectors modal, Kit will appear in your list of Claude connectors with a checkmark under its "Status" column.
Connecting multiple Kit accounts to Claude
You can install the Kit connector only once per Claude account. To connect multiple Kit accounts to Claude, you'll need to add each Kit account as a separate custom connector.
NOTE: You need a paid Claude plan to connect multiple custom connectors.
Click Settings at the bottom right of your Claude account. Then, click Connectors.
If you've previously installed the Kit connector, remove it first.
Next, click + Add > Add custom connector.
In the Add custom connector modal, fill out these two fields:
Name: Enter a name that identifies your Kit account, like "Kit (account name)"
MCP server URL: Enter the URL
https://app.kit.com/mcp?newsletter, replacingnewsletterwith a short word that identifies the account
Click Continue.
Leave the Authentication and OAuth client settings as "Sign in now" and "Register automatically," respectively. Then, click Add.
Follow the instructions above for authorizing Claude to access your Kit account.
Then, repeat these steps to set up additional custom connectors for the other Kit accounts you want to connect.
To have Claude get data from the correct Kit account, mention the account's name in your prompt naturally, e.g., "Show me Account1's open rate from last week."
