If you can't find a direct integration with Kit, Zapier most likely has a solution! Here's how to get connected.

Zapier helps you connect (and automate!) different services across the web.

This means that if we don't have an official app for a service or platform you're using, in many cases you'll still be able to connect it to your Kit account using Zapier.

NOTE: You'll need a paid Kit account to connect with Zapier and all other apps.

What is Zapier?

Zapier is a service that allows you to connect different web applications — even if they don't have a direct integration with one another — using automations that they refer to as Zaps.

How it works: you'll connect to Zapier your Kit account and the other platform(s) or service(s) you want to connect to, and then set up Zaps that tell Kit to do something when a particular trigger event occurs in the other app.

Think of Zapier as an Internet middleman.

For example, you could have a Zap that tells Kit to add a Tag to a subscriber after they make a purchase in another app. That tag can then kick off a Visual Automation inside Kit, and then Kit can take it from there!

Connecting Kit to Zapier

Zapier has a free plan, which may be sufficient for you. View their plans and pricing details here to check if you need a paid Zapier account. A paid Kit account is required to access all apps.

After creating your Zapier account, you'll need to link it to your Kit account. You can do this by either going directly to the Kit Zapier page, or by navigating to Explore apps in the toolbar in the top right and searching for Kit within the app director.

Search for and select Kit from the list.

Next, press the Connect Kit to 7,000+ apps button:

This will bring up the Zap editor, creating a new Zap in your account with a Kit trigger event node already created. Here you can connect your Kit account by pressing the Sign In button on the Account field:

From here, if you aren't signed into your Kit account you will be shown the Kit login screen:

Once you are signed in, you will then see the following authorization screen:

Here you will be able to select the Kit account you want to connect to Zapier, click the Grant access to Zapier by Kit, and that's it! Your Kit account is now hooked up to Zapier!

Select “Yes” to stop this Zap step if the app returns an error and enable automatic authentication refresh. Select “No” to run the Zap step regardless of errors. Learn more about API Request action error handling.

Authentication

This automatically uses the authentication from the App to carry out these calls, so all plan eligible API endpoints are available and no additional authentication parameters are required.
