aMember has a ConvertKit integration built directly into their product!
For questions about how to use it or get access, please contact their customer support team.
How to configure the integration
Go to your aMember dashboard and click Configuration in the left sidebar > Setup/Configuration.
Then, select Plugins on the left.
Search for and activate ConvertKit on the aMember Add-Ons page:
After that, click the gear icon.
Next, copy and paste your ConvertKit V3 API Key and API Secret into the aMember ConvertKit add-on settings. You'll find these in your ConvertKit account's Developer settings.
You'll also see some optional settings, which you can enable if needed:
Do not unsubscribe controls whether to remove users from your ConvertKit Forms if they unsubscribe.
Ordinarily, when a user unsubscribes from an aMember newsletter subscription, they need to be removed from the ConvertKit Form and (if applicable) Tag associated with that newsletter subscription.
But due to limitations with the integration, the only way to remove the user from that ConvertKit Form is to remove the user from all ConvertKit Forms the user may be subscribed to via aMember newsletter subscriptions, and then re-add the user to the ConvertKit Forms they are still supposed to be subscribed to.
The re-adding process may trigger automations in aMember and/or ConvertKit and result in unintended actions to the user.
If you enable the Do not unsubscribe setting, aMember will not remove users from the associated ConvertKit Form when they unsubscribe from an aMember newsletter subscription. Instead, only the ConvertKit Tag associated with that newsletter subscription (if there is one) will be removed.
Debug logging controls whether aMember will record the integration's activity for troubleshooting purposes.

After entering your API Key and API Secret, a new Unsubscribe customer from selected newsletter threads setting will appear. It lets you unsubscribe a user from an aMember newsletter subscription associated with the relevant ConvertKit Form when the user has been added or completed their first payment.
If you update this setting, hit Save to save your changes.
Configuring your aMember newsletter subscriptions
When you go to Protect Content > Newsletters from your aMember left sidebar, you'll see a list of newsletter subscriptions—including some named after your ConvertKit Forms:
Each ConvertKit Form is associated with an aMember newsletter subscription. Click the pencil icon to the right of any newsletter subscription to configure who can get subscribed to it (and added to the relevant ConvertKit Form).
You can also select Define Tags Integration to choose a ConvertKit Tag that users who subscribe to that newsletter subscription should be added to.
