How to add a newsletter feed to your Landing Page

Include your Kit Broadcasts in a customizable newsletter feed, embedded directly on your Landing Page.

Updated over a month ago

Embed a feed of past newsletters on your Landing Page!

This curated selection of your Broadcasts is a great way to show off your best content (not to mention enticing your Landing Page visitors to subscribe to your email list!).

Here's an example of how a newsletter feed looks on a Landing Page:

Clicking a newsletter in the feed will show its full content, and from there, it can also be easily shared on social media.

Ready to set up yours? Here's how!

1. Choose which Broadcasts to include

You're in control: none of your Broadcasts will be publicly displayed on your feed unless you choose to do so. Your feed's content is up to you.

For previously sent Broadcasts

Go to the Broadcasts page under the Send tab in the navigation. Click the Broadcast you want to include in your feed to go to its Overview report.

Click the Public toggle to publish your Broadcast to the web.

After that, scroll down to the SEO settings in the right sidebar.

Click its pencil icon to set up your Broadcast's:

  • Thumbnail: By default, we'll use the first image in your Broadcast, if applicable. Otherwise, click Upload image to upload your own image.

  • Accessibility alt text for the thumbnail

  • URL slug: This is the last part of the URL that points to your published Broadcast. E.g., accountdomain.ck.page/profile/your-url-slug-goes-here.

  • Meta description: This is a short description of the Broadcast that will appear on the search engine results pages and social media shares.

Click Save to save your changes.

For new Broadcasts

Go to the Publish page for your new Broadcast and select Publish to web:

When you do so, you'll see the same configuration settings for your Broadcast's thumbnail, alt text, and so on as above.

After that, click the Continue button at the bottom right to publish your Broadcast. It'll be automatically included in your feed after that.

NOTE: If you want to, you can also select the Send email option to send your Broadcast to your email list. But this step is optional if your goal is to add your Broadcast to your newsletter feed.

2. Add the feed to your Landing Page

☝️ TIP: If you haven't created your Landing Page yet, we recommend creating one using a Landing Page template with a nice big content area. Abbey, Canyon, Quincy, Randall, and Warren are all great template options for feeds.

Click any paragraph text area in your Landing Page to display the content block menu on the left.

Then, select the Newsletter Feed option from the menu.

NOTE: If you don’t see an option to add a Newsletter Feed from the menu, this means newsletter feeds aren't supported on that area of the page yet.

3. Customize your feed

Once you've added your feed, customize its appearance! If its settings aren't already showing in the right sidebar of the Landing Page builder, simply click the Settings button above your newly added feed to reveal them:

These are the style settings available for your feed:

And here's what each of those settings means:

  • Display: How many newsletters to display in your feed

  • Order: Whether your feed is sorted by newest or oldest

  • Title color: The font color of your newsletter's title

  • Title font size: The font size of your newsletter's title

  • Date color: The font color of the date (if displayed)

  • Date font size: The font size of the date (if displayed)

  • Image border radius: How rounded the image corners are

  • Include image: Whether you want to include your Broadcasts' thumbnail images in the feed (Uncheck for a text-only feed)

  • Include sent date: Whether you want the date that your Broadcast was sent to be included in the feed (Uncheck to hide the date)

Don't forget to click the Save button to save your work every now and then!

4. Publish your updated Landing Page

Once you're happy with how everything looks, click the Publish button at the top left of the Landing Page builder, and that's it!

NOTE: It will take a minute or two to build the cached version of this page that will live publicly. This caching helps your pages load quickly, and you'll be able to view your Landing Page and its newsletter feed shortly thereafter.

Rearranging or removing your feed

To remove or rearrange a newsletter feed, click the feed's Settings button:

Then, under Rearrange elements in the right sidebar, you can drag and drop your newsletter feed block to rearrange it, or click its X button to remove it entirely:

Save and publish your changes, and you're ready to go.
