Your Creator Profile's public newsletter feed is like a mini-blog for your newsletter content.
With your Creator Profile's newsletter feed, you can easily share your newsletter content with others!
Every Broadcast you send or have previously sent to your subscribers can be made public, and you can also limit their access to paid subscribers by making them paid posts.
This is great if you're looking for a simple way of sharing your newsletter with users who want to preview your content before signing up.
In this article, we’ll walk through how your Creator Profile's newsletter feed works.
1. Set up your public newsletter feed
Let’s start by customizing your Creator Profile. To do this, go to the Grow tab in the navigation, followed by Creator Profile.
Here, you can customize your profile photo, name, and bio:
If you have a paid newsletter, you can also select its newsletter product from the Newsletter Posts settings's Newsletter product drop-down menu. This way, only customers of that newsletter product can access your paid posts.
Soon, your Creator Profile's newsletter feed will look something like this:
2. Add posts to your newsletter feed
Here’s how to make your newsletter content public:
For an unsent Broadcast draft
Click the Publish tab at the top right of the Broadcast editor for the Broadcast draft you haven't sent yet.
Select Publish to web to display your Broadcast on your public newsletter feed.
You can then add a newsletter thumbnail and choose the alt text to be displayed publicly:
Once you've sent the Broadcast, it will automatically display on your newsletter feed!
For a sent Broadcast
There are two methods of adding a previously sent Broadcast to your newsletter feed.
The first method is to click Posts in the Creator Profile builder:
Then, click the Select broadcasts to display publicly button in the right sidebar's Newsletter Posts settings to select the Broadcasts you want to make public.
The second method is to find your sent Broadcast from your Broadcasts dashboard and click its subject line to open its reports.
Toggle the Public button at the top right of any report to make your Broadcast publicly available on your newsletter feed.
On the Overview report, you can also click the pencil icon next to the SEO settings section to add a newsletter thumbnail and choose the alt text to be displayed publicly.
3. Share your Creator Profile
Now that you've added content to your Creator Profile's newsletter feed, here’s what it will look like for your audience:
By default, your Creator Profile link will be yourdomain.ck.page/profile
(e.g., https://kit.ck.page/profile). (Learn how to change it here.)
To get new subscribers, try sharing your Creator Profile link on social media, in your emails, or even in your email signature!
From your Creator Profile, visitors will be able to subscribe and share your content with their followers:
There you have it. So many opportunities for growing your list!
