Add Newsletter Sponsorships to your emails to earn extra revenue.

Newsletter Sponsorships are sponsored email content containing copy and images pre-approved by their advertisers and that are scheduled to run on certain dates. Insert them into your emails, customize their look, and send your emails at the scheduled dates to serve the sponsored content to your subscribers.

Here's how this works for both Broadcast and Sequence emails.

Go to Newsletter Sponsorships under the Earn tab in the navigation.

Under this page's Campaigns tab, you'll see two sections:

The Offers for you section shows ongoing Newsletter Sponsorship campaigns for which you've received email offers.

Meanwhile, the Other campaigns section shows ongoing Newsletter Sponsorship campaigns that you haven't received email offers for, but can still express interest in if the campaigns might appeal to your audience.

To express interest in a Newsletter Sponsorship campaign, click its View campaign button. You'll see information like:

Click the I'm interested button at the bottom right to confirm your interest in the campaign.

We'll note your interest and will email you an offer for it (and future campaigns by the same advertiser) if there's a good fit.

If we secure a Newsletter Sponsorship that's a good fit for you, we'll email you an offer for it.

The email will contain details on the Newsletter Sponsorship's:

Click the email's Review offer button to review the offer in more detail.

You'll be directed to an offer review screen in your Kit account, where you can review information on the campaign's advertiser, campaign window, placements, and payout.

You'll also see two buttons at the bottom right: Decline offer and ✓ Accept & Schedule.

Click Decline offer to decline the offer, or ✓ Accept & Schedule to accept and schedule the Newsletter Sponsorship.

If you decline this specific offer, select the reason why and provide an optional description to explain more. Then, click Decline offer.

To decline all future Newsletter Sponsorship offers from the brand, check the Hide future offers from this brand box before you click Decline offer.

If you accept this specific offer, you'll be taken to a page for adding and scheduling placements.

Click Add a placement to add a placement. A calendar widget will pop up to let you choose a date to schedule the placement on.

This date should be a date on which you're emailing your subscribers. Otherwise, your subscribers won't see your Newsletter Sponsorships.

Repeat the scheduling process for the number of placements available for this offer.

Once you've added all your placements, hit Done.

Open the email draft in which you want to serve the Newsletter Sponsorship.

Hover your cursor over the left side of the part of the email where you want to add an ad. Click the + icon that appears to display the content block menu, and then select the Sponsorship content block.

An Ad Slot will be added to your email.

You can optionally preview the Newsletter Sponsorship and customize it before sending your email.

To do this, click the Ad Slot. Then, use the Preview dropdown menu to select the Newsletter Sponsorship.

The pre-approved sponsored image and content will appear in the Ad Slot.

While previewing sponsored content, click its components—like its header, description, and button—to customize their look in the right sidebar.

Schedule your email to send on a date that matches your ad's scheduled date in your account's timezone. If you schedule your email on a different date, your email may:

As you serve Newsletter Sponsorships to your subscribers, you'll receive ad payouts and receipts 45 days after the month in which your campaign runs.

You can review your payout amount and payment status from your Newsletter Sponsorships reporting page.

Review your active offers under the Newsletter Sponsorships' Campaigns page's Offers for you section.

You'll also see the number of placements—out of the maximum—that you have scheduled for your active offers.

Go to the Schedule tab to review your scheduled placements for all accepted offers.

Click the three horizontal dots to the right of the placement to edit its scheduled date or unschedule it completely if you need to.

If you change your mind about serving Newsletter Sponsorships, you can disable them in a few ways.

Turn off Newsletter Sponsorships entirely to stop receiving Newsletter Sponsorship offers and sponsorship offer notifications. All Newsletter Sponsorships you previously accepted—including any that have been scheduled to send—will also be canceled.

To turn off Newsletter Sponsorships, go to Newsletter Sponsorships under Earn in the navigation. Click the Settings button, followed by Turn off sponsorships.

Click Turn off sponsorships in the window that appears to confirm your decision.

To re-enable Newsletter Sponsorships, go to Newsletter Sponsorships and click the Opt in to sponsorships button.

Change your email's send date to a date on which you don't have any Newsletter Sponsorships scheduled.

This way, your email's Ad Slots won't show any Newsletter Sponsorships.

When you remove your email draft's Ad Slot, you prevent all ads (whether they're Newsletter Sponsorships or programmatic ads) from appearing in the email when it's sent.

To remove an Ad Slot, hover over it and click the trash can icon to the right to delete it.
