Kit + Leadpages

Connect your Leadpages to Kit to collect subscribers!

Updated today

Integrate Leadpages with Kit to automatically add your landing page leads to your email list. Here's how to set up this powerful connection.

Connecting Kit and Leadpages for the first time

Step 1: Connect your accounts

  1. In your Leadpages dashboard, click Integrations

  2. Select Kit from the list

  3. Get your API key:

    • Go to your Kit account's Developer settings

    • Copy the V3 API Key to your clipboard

  4. Back in Leadpages, paste your V3 API Key into the field

  5. Name your integration and click Connect

  6. The status will update to "Connected" immediately

Note: You need at least one Form in your Kit account before proceeding. Create one first if needed.

Step 2: Link your Leadpages form to Kit

  1. Create or edit your Leadpages landing page

  2. Hover over the email form and click Edit Integrations

  3. In the panel that appears, look for "Choose where you want form data to go"

  4. Click + Add an Integration below the default "Lead Notifications" item

  5. Select Kit from the menu

  6. Choose the Kit Form you want to connect from the dropdown

  7. Wait for the checkmark to confirm the connection

  8. Optional: Remove the default "Lead Notifications" connection if desired

That's it! Your Leadpages form will now send all new subscribers directly to Kit.

Pro tip: The Fields tab lets you add a First Name field to capture more subscriber data. Currently, the app supports Email and First Name fields only.

Frequently asked questions

Which Leadpages builder should I use?

This app works with both Leadpages's Drag & Drop Builder and Standard Builder. The instructions above are for the Drag & Drop Builder, which is Leadpages's current interface.

Where do I set up my thank-you page?

Configure your thank-you page in Leadpages, not in Kit. Leadpages will handle the post-signup experience.

Can I connect multiple Leadpages forms to one Kit Form?

Yes, but we recommend creating a dedicated Kit Form for each Leadpages form. This approach lets you:

  • Track which leads came from which landing page

  • Set up different automations based on signup source

  • Run more precise analytics on your marketing efforts

You don't need to design these Kit Forms since subscribers only see your Leadpage. Just make sure to set up any relevant Kit settings like:

  • Incentive emails

  • Visual Automations

  • Tagging or segmentation

I previously connected using the old method

We recommend reconnecting using the API method described above for better reliability and more features.
