Learn how to share a visual automation template with others

Updated this week

NOTE: This video also goes over how to incorporate your affiliate link into the sharing page. Skip to 1:18 if you just want info about the affiliate share!

You can create and share your visual automations from within your Kit account!

With this feature, you can publicly share your visual automation as a template that others can copy into their account!

This includes everything.

Tags, sequences (with their emails and content), custom fields, forms, and more—all associated data can be shared!

NOTE: If you share a visual automation, its notes will be included. This is helpful if you want to add instructions or comments on how your automation works!

To use this feature you can go into any automation (Automate > Visual Automations > select your automation) and click the 'Share' button at the top. From there you can toggle it on or off and grab a link that can be shared.

This generates a page where anyone ( Kit customers and non-customers) can copy the automation into their account:

If the person is not yet a Kit customer, they'll be able to sign up directly through this page with a 14-day free trial, and they'll get the automation added to their account after joining.

For affiliates

If you're already a Kit affiliate and have added your referral code to your account settings (here's where to do that), the visual automation template will automatically include your referral link. That way, you get credit for anyone who signs up after copying your automation template.

Use Cases

Feel free to share your visual automation in blog posts, webinars, and on social platforms. This feature is for YOU to share your work, to help your audience.

You can now reference an automation that you designed, share how it works, and then provide an exact copy for your subscribers to use!
