Subject lines are important for catching your subscribers' eye and having them open your emails, but they're not the only factor.
Adding preview text, or pre-header text, is another great opportunity for getting your subscribers' attention.
Email clients will often show a snippet of the first part of the email content as a preview next to its subject line. This text may not be particularly attention-grabbing on its own, so you might want to override it with some teaser text or an enticing call to action.

How to customize your Broadcast’s preview text
When you write your Broadcast, you'll see a + Add preview text option under the subject line:
Click it, and you'll be able to add up to 150 characters of preview text. We'll save your preview text automatically.
How to customize your Sequence’s preview text
In the Sequence editor, click the Edit preview text button in the right-hand corner. You can then add up to 150 characters of preview text in the dropdown box:
