How to embed Spotify links into emails and Landing Pages

Quickly and easily engage your fans by embedding your Spotify link into a Broadcast or Sequence email, or into a Landing Page!

Updated over a week ago

As a musician, you need a way to share your music with your fans.

Now it's possible, directly within Kit.

Using Kit's email editor or Landing Pages, you can connect with your fans using rich embeds of the music you want to share, without them ever having to visit another page.

Share your work, and keep them engaged. Let's dive in!

NOTE: The embed feature works for tracks, artists, playlists, albums, podcast shows, and podcast episodes.

How it works 🎧

First, let's start with email.

Start a new Broadcast or Sequence email, and then add whatever email copy you’d like.

Maybe you’re catching your readers up on your latest work, letting them know about a new music project, or sharing an upcoming event date.

Now comes the fun part.

When you’re ready, grab your Spotify share link and add it to your email.

In Spotify, click the three horizontal dots near the play button for what you want to share > Share > Copy Link (e.g., Copy Song Link or Copy Show Link).

NOTE: You can also copy the Spotify link directly from your browser address bar.

Then, use the content block menu to add the Spotify content block to your email:

Click the content block to display its settings in the right sidebar. Paste your Spotify link into the field provided, and then click the refresh icon.

Your link will be converted into a rich embedded link:

Instead of adding the Spotify content block to your email, you can also paste the Spotify link directly into your email body.

To adjust your Spotify content block's alignment, click the content block and use the provided alignment settings in the right sidebar.

To replace the media in the Spotify embed, delete the old link from the Spotify link setting in the right sidebar and paste in the new one. Then, click the refresh icon.

Now, your fans can listen to whatever you share with them right here, in your email. How cool is that?

Let's try a Landing Page 🎶

Once you've selected your Landing Page template, go grab the link to the song or the playlist that you'd like to share. (Same process as before!)

Unlike the email editor, the Landing Page builder doesn't have a Spotify content block option. But you can simply paste the Spotify link into your Landing Page to create a neat Spotify embed.

That’s it! It really is that simple.

Now, you’re ready to share your music with all the fans on your list!
