Invite your audience to connect with you on social media by adding social media icons to your Broadcast and Sequence emails.
You can do this easily from within the email editor, with no code required.
To do this, click the part of your Broadcast or Sequence email where you want to add your icons.
You’ll see a + icon pop up on the left-hand side of the email editor. Click it, scroll down until you see the Icons content block, and then select the block.
You can also type "/icons" to find and add the Icons content block.
After adding the Icons content block to your email, click the new + button that has appeared to add the first social media icon.
Customizing the platform icon and link
When you click your social media icon, the right sidebar will display settings for customizing the icon's platform icon and URL.
NOTE: Be sure to add the URL (e.g., https://www.instagram.com/kit), rather than your handle (e.g., @kit).
Customizing your icons' look
Click any of your social media icons to load the Email > Section > Icons > Icon settings for it in the right sidebar.
After that, click the Icons tab in the right sidebar to display the icon customization options.
You’ll be able to choose your icon style (square, circle, or icon only), icon color, and icon alignment (left, center, right).
Adding/removing icons
To add more icons, click the + sign to the right of the Icons content block.
To remove an individual icon, click the one you want to remove. Then, hit the your keyboard's Backspace button.
To remove the entire block of icons, hit your keyboard's Backspace button for each icon—including the one with the + sign for adding new icons—until they're all gone.
