As Kit has grown, so has the number of tools available to help you build your business. The new vertical navigation is designed to make it easier to move through Kit, find what you need faster, and discover more of what’s available to support your growth.
That's why we're introducing the vertical navigation experience.
Why we're making this change
Our goal is simple: make it easier to navigate Kit.
The new navigation organizes the same tools and functionality you already use into a layout that's easier to scan and explore. During research and usability testing, we found that a vertical navigation helped creators locate features 40% faster, build a stronger mental model of where things live, and better understand everything available within Kit.
This isn't about changing how Kit works. It's about making it easier to find what you're looking for.
What's changing?
The vertical navigation introduces a new layout that makes key areas of Kit easier to access from anywhere in the product.
With the new experience:
Subscribers and Broadcasts are now one click away from anywhere in Kit.
Grow is now Audience Growth.
Earn is now Monetization.
Automate is now Automation, and Email Sequences now live here too.
Send is going away. Broadcasts has a new home at the top level, and Templates and Snippets are now accessible from the Broadcasts page.
Apps are now one click away.
The navigation is collapsible, giving you more space to work when you need it.
The tools you use today are still available. We’ve simply reorganized the navigation to make common actions easier to find and to give you a clearer view of what’s available in Kit.
Why is it opt-in?
We're rolling this out as an opt-in experience because we want to learn alongside our creators.
While our research and testing have been encouraging, real-world usage always provides valuable insights. By making the experience optional initially, we can gather feedback, understand how people naturally use it, and continue refining the navigation before making it the default experience.
Your feedback will directly influence how the navigation evolves.
We'd love your feedback
If you choose to try the new navigation, we'd love to hear what you think. Whether something feels more intuitive, harder to find, or there's an opportunity we haven't considered, your feedback helps us build a better Kit for everyone.
This is the first step toward a navigation experience that's easier to use today and better prepared for how Kit will continue to grow in the future.
