Your email list is one of the most valuable pieces of your business and is worth backing up regularly.
Easily export your email list from Kit with a bulk action.
Here's how:
How to export all your subscribers
Navigate to Subscribers under the Grow tab in the navigation.
Click the checkbox at the top of the subscriber list to select all the subscribers on the current page. To select all subscribers in your account, click the Select all # subscribers option that pops up.
Click Bulk Actions > Export.
After clicking Export, this modal will pop up to confirm that your export file is now processing:
NOTE: Depending on the number of subscribers you're exporting, receiving the export email may take several minutes.
How to export a segment of your list
If you haven't already, create a Segment of the subscribers you want to export.
Access the Segment by clicking its name from the Subscribers page's right sidebar.
Follow the same steps as above to select all subscribers in the Segment, and then use a bulk action to export them.
โจ TIP: You can export your subscribers from anywhere you can run bulk actions from. This means you can skip creating the Segment if you're able to access the correctly curated list of subscribers from elsewhere in your account (such as from a reports page).
How to download your export file
A download link for the export file will be emailed to your Kit account's email address. If you are a team member of the account you're exporting subscribers from instead of the account's owner, the download link will also be emailed to the account owner's email address.
You can also download the file from your Kit dashboard by clicking the circle icon next to your profile picture in the navigation:
This menu also displays the statuses of all your bulk actions.
Export links expire after five days. We recommend downloading your export as soon as possible.
We also recommend backing up your export file to a cloud location (such as Dropbox or Google Drive), along with keeping a copy on your computer or external hard drive.
