"Did my Broadcast actually send? Is my Broadcast stuck?"
If you’re asking yourself these questions, here’s how to find out.
At the top of the Broadcasts page, you’ll see a few tabs:
The All broadcasts tab lists all the Broadcasts available in your account, regardless of their status.
The remaining tabs—Drafts, Scheduled, Processing, and Published—correspond to specific Broadcast statuses.
Click any status to view only the Broadcasts that have it.
What each status means
Drafts
These are Broadcasts that haven't been sent and/or published to the web yet.
Scheduled
These are Broadcasts that have been scheduled for a later send time.
Processing
These are Broadcasts currently being sent.
NOTE: Broadcasts send quickly most of the time. So, you may not see any Broadcasts with the Processing status unless:
Your recipients list is large
You've scheduled your Broadcast to send in recipients' local time zones
You're doing an A/B test (of either your subject lines or email content), and the test is still running
Use of our sending system is currently heavy (see below for more info)
Published
These are Broadcasts that have been sent and/or published to the web.
How sending system usage affects Broadcast processing
When you send your Broadcast, it enters a queue. Depending on how many other Kit users are sending emails and how emails are being sent, Broadcasts can take a while to process.
Give your Broadcast time to get through the queue instead of creating a duplicate to send instead. Your Broadcast will be sent, and so will any duplicates. You don’t want to send subscribers the same email twice.
If you don't see your Broadcast send within an hour of its send time, please contact support, and we can look into what might be the culprit.
